Happy Birthday, Ma!

Well, this isn't quite her kind of music...but it's still beautiful. A twofer today.
First, a Chet Atkins song which I remember hearing a long long time ago. What a beast.


Next, one of my favorite duos, who I also remember hearing a long time ago. Jerry Garcia and David Grisman made a record called Not For Kids Only. I remember listening to this is Dad's car when we were going someplace. Anyway, this here is a Grateful Dead song, but in a slightly different format. My two favorite things about this are the counter rhythm David does, and the fact that the percussionist is playing fiddle. Oh man. I would've loved to have been at this concert.
